According to The Sun: RYAN SEARLE received £100,000 for reaching the quarter-finals of the World Championship. After that, he decided to buy a gift for his wife's birthday at POUNDLAND.
The world number 20 showed an impressive performance: an average of 100.57 and 50 percent success on double throws, winning against James Hurrell with a score of 4-0. This was his first entry into the last eight of the tournament at Ally Pally.
