Kim Jong Un's daughter: potential successor
According to The Sun: Around the world, 12-year-old Kim Ju-ae, daughter of Kim Jong Un, is actively discussed as she recently became a prominent figure during a 'dubious' summit in China, appearing alongside her father. Experts believe she may become a potential heiress to the regime.

According to analysts, Kim Ju-ae, who is currently 12 to 13 years old, is indeed being prepared for the role of her father’s successor. Her presence at the summit indicates that she may take on leadership in the future. This was the first time Kim Jong Un brought his daughter on an official visit to China.
Experts say that Kim Ju-ae is being raised with the expectation that she will become his successor. The visit to China could serve as an important experience for her as she needs to learn how to assert power on the international stage.
Spokesman for the South Korean analytical center Cheong Seong-Chang noted:
“The spectacle in China showed that she is viewed as number two in North Korea both at home and abroad”.

Kim Ju-ae first appeared in public at the end of 2022 when she watched a ballistic missile launch alongside her father. Since then, she has been seen more frequently at various events with Kim Jong Un.
New opportunities for the young heiress
Currently, Kim Ju-ae is increasingly mentioned in the media with titles such as “beloved” and “honored” daughter, which are usually attributed to prominent individuals. Furthermore, she is noticed wearing similar clothing to her father, indicating that Kim Jong Un is preparing her for future power.

Importantly, although Kim Ju-ae appears to be the main candidate for the successor role, her aunt Kim Yo Jong, considered the second most influential woman in the country, is also not sidelined. She was previously thought to be a likely successor, but the situation changed with the emergence of Kim Ju-ae.
As of now, Kim Jong Un remains the leader of the country, although his health raises concerns. Time will tell who will ultimately take his place, as this question remains uncertain.
