According to Espreso.tv: According to a report from the Institute for the Study of War, Russia made extensive use of jet-engine drones during nighttime strikes on Ukraine between July 1 and July 2. These drones can achieve speeds of up to 500 kilometers per hour, making them significantly harder to intercept. On the night of July 2, these strikes resulted in casualties, with both fatalities and injuries reported. Yurii Ihnat, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian military, stated that
“the Russians used a large number of jet-powered drones”and emphasized that
“these drones fly too fast for Ukrainian mobile fire teams to intercept them”.
