Ryan Reynolds at the Wrexham Match: Former Manchester United Player Spotted in the Box.
Ryan Reynolds at the Match in the UK
According to The Sun: Ryan Reynolds arrived in the UK to support his favorite team Wrexham in their match against Queens Park Rangers. But fans were astonished when they noticed a special guest sitting behind the actor.
The Hollywood actor is a co-owner of the Welsh club along with Rob McElhenney – the star of the series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
PAThis duo has lifted the club from the lower leagues to the Championship, investing in three successful promotion campaigns in a row.
However, today the Deadpool star witnessed his team's defeat with a score of 3-1 at Racecourse Ground against QPR.
This was the second home game for the Dragons that the Canadian attended this season, but Reynolds has yet to see his team win since the loss to West Brom 3-2 in August.
Fans on social media were astonished to see former Manchester United star Phil Jones sitting behind the 48-year-old actor.
Jones, the current coach of the youth team for the Red Devils, was observing the match in Reynolds' VIP zone along with Colin Hanks, the son of Tom Hanks.
It is unclear why Jones was at the game, but perhaps he was invited as Reynolds' special guest; fans on social media speculated that the 33-year-old player might be considered for a coaching position.
Jones' appearance came a day before the Manchester derby at Etihad Stadium.
“It doesn’t matter what form the team is in going into the derby,” he told the club's website.PA

“The atmosphere is always incredible. The preparation for the game throughout the week is always ramped up tenfold. So players know what to expect,” he noted.
The youth team of Manchester United also played that day, defeating Burnley 1-0 thanks to a penalty from Jim Tweed at the 89th minute, won by Jay Jay Gabriel – a young player dubbed the 'child Messi' who was invited to train with the first team at the age of 14.
This victory secured a perfect start to the season for United's youth team in the North Premier League, with four wins in four matches.
In addition to his coaching duties, Jones also works as a commentator for Sky Sports this season.
This match, where Reynolds observed the game, highlights not only his dedication to the club but also the ongoing interest of fans in the Wrexham team. Despite the defeats, this connection between actors and the team continues to pique the interest of fans and media. Everyone is looking forward to further results from the club as fans are hoping for new victories in upcoming matches.
