Borysov was assigned a bail of 20 million hryvnias in the case of unauthorised abandonment of the unit

According to inkorr.com: Yevhen Borysov, the former head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, received yet another bail in the case of unauthorized abandonment of the unit. This time its amount is 20 million hryvnias, and the decision was made by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

On November 4, another bail in the total amount of 20,136,200 hryvnias was contributed for Borysov in the same case. The funds were transferred through the company 'Evagrein', which was registered as a legal entity only in 2023 and specializes in the export of grain and oilseeds.

This is the third bail amount paid for Borysov. A total of over 100 million hryvnias has been paid for all four criminal cases: earlier, 36,364,000 and 44,420,760 hryvnias were contributed.

Four criminal cases against the former official

Yevhen Borysov is currently accused in four criminal proceedings. The situation escalated in the spring of 2023 due to suspicions of issuing 'white tickets' to avoid mobilization. The investigation also revealed other violations related to illegal enrichment.

As of now, two cases have already been sent to court, while the State Bureau of Investigation is dealing with the suspicion of using false documents for traveling abroad. Borysov is also suspected of forging documentation regarding his participation in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.

The situation around Borysov continues to develop, and his further fate will depend on the results of the investigations and court hearings. The four criminal cases indicate serious charges that may have significant consequences both for him personally and for the image of military structures in Ukraine.
