Unpaid traffic fines: what restrictions await Ukrainians.
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian citizens are not actively paying fines for traffic violations, which can lead to negative consequences in the future. According to statistics, 75% of enforcement proceedings related to unpaid fines are closed. However, this does not mean that debtors can avoid responsibility. Lawyer Bohdan Kushnir noted that even after the proceedings are closed, financial obligations remain and can impose serious restrictions on the guilty parties.
'In this case, if the executor is unable to collect the fine, the enforcement proceedings are simply closed factually. But the fine, the debt, the seizures on property and accounts do not disappear. They remain until this person pays the said fine,' the lawyer explained.
Therefore, it is important to understand that even after the closure of the enforcement proceedings, all financial obligations remain in force and can lead to serious consequences for offenders in the future, especially during contract signing or property transactions.
The absence of fine payments can cause significant difficulties in the future. Debtors may face seizures of property and accounts, complicating their financial situation. Therefore, to avoid troubles, it is important to take your legal obligations seriously.
