Later, the head of the city said that one of the strikes hit the central part of Kharkiv, targeting civilian infrastructure. Information on damage and casualties is being clarified.

«According to preliminary information, in the Industrial district we had a hit on a 12-story residential building. There is a fire and partial destruction. Information about the casualties there is being clarified. We also have preliminary information about a strike on the Nemyshlyansky district. There seem to be no casualties in the center, but the site of the CAB hit is being surveyed», - noted Terekhov.

The head of the city also reported that a child died as a result of the attack. «In the Nemyshlyansky district, the occupiers killed a child right on the playground. A girl. At least three more people are injured in this area. In the burning high-rise in the Industrial district, there are already two dead», - the report said.

As reported, Kharkiv will be the first in Ukraine to fully reorganize its heating, water and energy supply systems. Thus, the city will become energy-independent, despite constant Russian shelling.
