The West Confirms Support for Ukraine: Expert on Signal to the Kremlin.
According to FREEДOM: Leaders of the USA and Europe visited Kyiv on Ukraine's Independence Day to support it at a crucial moment. The expert believes that this is a message to Putin, as they brought not only greetings but also financial agreements. The reaction of the Kremlin to such actions by the West can already be anticipated, and it will manifest in further political and military provocations.
'I think we should interpret these visits in this way, as they did not come to us silently. They arrived, first and foremost, with congratulatory speeches, and most of them – with specific money and agreements. Everything is prospective, but this is already turning into documents,' the expert emphasized.
According to Oleg Lysny, Putin's behavior towards Ukraine remains unchanged – provocations, military actions, blocking negotiations. The European Commissioner for Defense believes that Putin's resilience threatens European security and Ukraine's integration into NATO and the EU, not the other way around.
Summary: The visit of Western leaders to Kyiv on Ukraine's Independence Day is an important signal of support for Ukraine and a challenge for the Kremlin. Putin's response is predictable – attempts to destabilize the situation at the border and intimidate negotiations, while the West emphasizes the importance of security and Ukraine's integration into European structures.
