Ukraine lost its heroic pilot Oleksiy Mes, who was killed on August 26 during a Russian missile and air attack. This information was reported by the press service of the Air Command 'West' of the Ukrainian Air Forces.

During the attack, Oleksiy destroyed three cruise missiles and one strike UAV.

It is known that Oleksiy Mes heroically defended Ukraine during the Russian combined missile and air strike on August 26. By the decision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Mes was posthumously promoted to the rank of colonel. We lost a reliable friend and a strong warrior, but we did not lose our strength, will, and desire to win', the Air Force reported.

Russian aggression affects energy sector
