Salaries of Ukrainians in December: who will receive bonuses up to 27 thousand hryvnias.
According to ТСН: Experts have analyzed the labor market and predicted what changes await the earnings of Ukrainians in December. Salary growth is uneven, and the end of the year traditionally brings bonuses.
Where are salaries increasing?
Expert Andriy Zablovsky noted that the most significant salary increases are observed in industry and the agricultural sector, while the public sector remains outside of these changes.
Zablovsky explained that the average salary does not reflect the real situation, as:
‘Salaries are significantly raised where there is production and a shortage of qualified workers. That is why doctors, teachers, and other budget workers have hardly felt the salary increase’.
December - the month of bonuses
Andriy Zablovsky predicts that in December the earnings of all categories of employees will increase. This is due to traditional accruals at the end of the year:
Bonuses
13th salaries
Incentives
Expert Oleg Pendzin estimated the average salary in Ukraine in December to be approximately 27,000 hryvnias.
According to his forecasts, salaries in industry will rise to this average level, while in other sectors they will remain at the November level.
Bonuses for officials, but not for the military
Oleg Pendzin also noted that officials could receive bonuses based on the year's results.
However, military personnel and other categories funded from the budget cannot expect additional payments, since, according to his estimates, the budgetary capabilities do not allow this.
Thus, December promises to be a month of income growth for many employees, and traditional bonuses will allow some categories to receive additional support. However, budget workers remain overlooked in this situation, as their earnings do not undergo significant changes. This highlights the uneven distribution of financial resources depending on the economic sector.
