Salaries in Ukrainian retail have increased by a third: who earns the most.
According to inkorr.com: In 2024, Ukrainian retail recovered after the difficult year of 2022, leading to a significant increase in employee salaries. According to the financial reports of large retail companies, the average monthly salary in retail has increased by almost a third.
Salary Leaders
The most deserving average salaries are paid by companies occupying positions in the premium segment or having substantial internal resources. The leaders are GoodWine, where the average salary exceeds 82 thousand hryvnias, ATB-Market with an indicator of over 52 thousand hryvnias, and Roshen, where the average payment exceeds 41 thousand hryvnias.
The top 10 list also includes Rozetka.UA, TSUM Kyiv, the Samsung network, and Duty Free. Companies from the pharmaceutical and cosmetic segments, such as Express-Apoteka, Watsons, Eva, and Perша Pharmacia of Kharkiv, also showed significant salary growth.
Thus, Ukrainian retail demonstrated positive trends in 2024 by increasing the average salaries of employees. The leaders in terms of payment remain companies in the premium segment and with large resources, while significant salary growth is also observed in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors.
