In Ukraine, teachers' salaries will be increased: what to expect for educators.
Salary Increase for Teachers in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on Education, Science and Innovation Serhiy Babak told ZN.UA about the possible salary increase for teachers in Ukraine. The Verkhovna Rada has already supported amendments to the legislation concerning the salary increases for educators.
'Teachers are, of course, skeptical about this, as their expectations have proven to be false in the past due to the government's failure to fulfill promises. However, this time, the changes I proposed involve the redistribution of 53 billion hryvnias for increasing educators' salaries. So, will teachers' salaries be raised? Absolutely!'
According to Babak, the exact figures for the salary increase have not yet been determined, but this issue is actively being discussed by the government. 'The ball is in the court of the Ministry of Finance and the government. In the next two weeks, we will be collaborating with them, hoping for a positive outcome,' he added.
Teachers in Ukraine can expect salary increases thanks to the amendments supported by the Verkhovna Rada which provide for the redistribution of funds for education. While specific figures are still unknown, the prospect of salary increases in the near future looks promising.
These changes could significantly impact the situation in the education sector. Educators hope that the funds received will truly go towards improving their financial situation. It is also important that the promises made by the government are realized in the shortest possible time, as this is not only support for teachers but also an investment in quality education for future generations.
