According to the police of the Kyiv region, the incident occurred in the village of Stare in the Boryspil district during the joint consumption of alcoholic beverages between a 46-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman when an argument arose between them.

During the sudden conflict, the man grabbed a hammer and struck his victim multiple times on the head.

The victim was urgently hospitalized due to her injuries.

The police detained the aggressor and placed him in a temporary holding facility. Investigators, under the supervision of the Boryspil district prosecutor's office, charged the man with committing intentional grievous bodily harm, which is dangerous to life.

The perpetrator faces up to eight years in prison.

It is worth noting that in Transcarpathia, a man killed his 10-year-old stepdaughter, brutally beating the child with his hands, feet, and a table leg.
