Ukraine Seeks Support in Europe During Zelensky's Meeting with Trump
Ukraine has a chance to determine its fate tomorrow, during the meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump. This was reported by the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during a meeting with Zelensky in Brussels.
'We will discuss these and other topics during our meeting at the White House. Tomorrow is the time when Ukraine decides its fate, but it can count on Europe,' emphasized the head of the European Commission.
The meeting between Zelensky and Trump is scheduled for tomorrow, August 18. Ursula von der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron, Finnish leader Alexander Stubb, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will also attend.
It is worth noting that earlier Donald Trump expressed support for Russian leader Vladimir Putin in his desire to fully control the situation in Donbas.
