The Ukrainian Football Association announced that the Ukraine national football team will face the Belgium national team in the Nations League playoffs 2024/25. The matches will take place at home on March 20, 2025, and away on the 23rd.

The winner of the playoffs will start the 2026/27 Nations League season in Division A.

It should be noted that the Ukraine national football team managed to reach the Nations League playoffs after a victory over the Albania national team with a score of 2-1. In a parallel match, the Georgia national team also won with a score of 2-1 against the Czech national team. Thanks to these results, the Ukraine national team finished second in its group and got a chance to fight for promotion.
