Ukraine's Kudo team became the European Champion among boys and younger boys in Lithuania. Ukrainian athletes won eight medals at this competition.
Gold medals in these competitions were won by Yevheniy Sidletskiy (68+ kg) and Diana Sviderska (53 kg). Silver medals were awarded to Danilo Zakabluk (68 kg) and Timur Kravchenko (58 kg). Denys Karbivskyi (42 kg) and Maksym Koshel (52+ kg) also became European champions among younger boys. Oleksandra Salova (42 kg) won silver, and Yaroslav Zhitkevych (42 kg) - bronze.
Kudo is a modern martial art that combines elements of kyokushin, judo, and Muay Thai.
The Ukrainian biathlon team also won a bronze medal at the World Cup held in the Czech Republic. Our athletes managed to finish in third place, despite being ranked in the top 10 before the competition.
The team consisted of Artem Tyschenko, Vitaliy Mandzyin, Anton Dudchenko, and Dmytro Pidruchnyi. Dmytro Pidruchnyi finished third and brought this important award to Ukraine, which became the first medal at the World Cups in the last three seasons.
