Zelensky announced cash payments of 1000 hryvnias to Ukrainians: what can it be spent on.
Zelensky introduces the "e-Support" program with financial assistance for the population
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, instructed the government to introduce a new program of financial support for the population. From December 1, 2024, every Ukrainian will receive one thousand hryvnias under the "e-Support" program.
"I instructed the government to introduce a new program from December 1, which will be tangible for every family in Ukraine. E-support for all our people – adults, children, every family in Ukraine," the head of state said.
According to the president, the amount of assistance per family will amount to several thousand hryvnias, depending on the number of family members. The funds can be spent on:
- payment of utilities and electricity
- purchase of Ukrzaliznytsia tickets
- purchase of Ukrainian medicines
- Ukrainian books
- cultural services
- donations for military needs
- support for volunteers
- purchase of drones
"All details must be determined by the Cabinet and presented to the people. On December first, the money must be with the people," Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized.
