President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Holds Security Briefing

According to Novyny.live: Ukraine’s intelligence chief, Oleh Ivashchenko, has delivered a classified report to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy detailing Moscow’s missile production capabilities, emerging threats, and plans to sever Ukraine’s international connections. According to Ivashchenko, the Kremlin now views Ukraine’s indigenous missile technology as a strategic danger—a shift that has raised alarms in Kyiv.

The briefing revealed that Russia intends to launch military, political, and propaganda offensives against Ukrainian firms developing missile systems. This signals the aggressor’s determination to escalate pressure on Ukraine’s defense sector. Ivashchenko also stated that Russian military intelligence intercepted confidential documents showing Moscow’s goal to restrict Ukraine’s security and economic ties with:

  • Moldova
  • The South Caucasus
  • The Middle East
  • The Gulf region

The meeting also addressed the large-scale attack on the night of June 2, when Russian forces launched 73 missiles of various types. That incident underscores the ongoing danger posed by Russian military operations to Ukraine and its neighbors.

“Russia views Ukraine’s ability to build its own ballistic system and localize anti-ballistic defense production as a strategic threat to itself. We will respond.” – Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Ivashchenko further reported that Ukraine’s intelligence has identified individuals and entities helping Russia evade missile-related sanctions. This information could prove critical for countermeasures against Russian aggression. Experts warn that such enabling activities may trigger new waves of attacks on Ukraine and undermine the country’s credibility among international partners.

As a result, the situation surrounding Russia’s missile industry and the threats it poses remains a pressing concern for Ukraine and its allies. These challenges must be factored into future security and defense strategies, as intensifying Russian pressure could have serious consequences not only for Ukraine but for regional stability at large.
