Zelensky explained the reasons for the fall of Assad's regime in Syria.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky explained that Bashar Assad's regime in Syria is failing because there are no Russian troops there, who are currently fighting in Ukraine.
This was stated during a meeting with Estonian Prime Minister Kristin Michal.
We see that Assad's regime is failing. Why? Because there are no real Russian troops there. Let's be honest. And not only because of the rebel forces and those who support them, but also because there are no real Russian troops there
Zelensky noted that nearly 800,000 Russian military personnel are in Ukraine. He claims that 'this means that the entire army of a large pseudo-empire is fighting against the Ukrainian people.'
The president also mentioned the presence of the Wagner group in Africa. He warned that if Ukraine falls, 'Putin will return to Syria, Africa, and many other countries.'
Zelensky believes that the only thing that can prevent this is the unification of the world around Ukraine.
Additionally, Zelensky confirmed for the first Time his conversation with Trump regarding the cessation of the war.
