Security guarantees for Ukraine at the summit in Paris
According to inkorr.com: As part of the 'Coalition of the Willing' summit in Paris, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the key elements of security guarantees for the country. In a conversation with journalist Marti Radatz from ABC News, he emphasized the importance of a strong army for ensuring security.
'First of all - it is a strong Ukrainian army, and I think everyone understands this,' Zelensky noted.
Zelensky also stressed the importance of American weapons, highlighting that only the United States has the necessary air defense systems that are critically important for protecting Ukraine. He mentioned the need for air support from European partners, particularly in the context of supplying F-16 fighter jets.
'We need an air defense shield. But a shield is not just air defense systems, but also planes,' the president emphasized.
Thus, during the summit, Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted the importance of a strong army and the necessity of support from the U.S. and European countries to ensure Ukraine's security.
Therefore, the issue of Ukraine's security remains on the agenda of international meetings. Support from the U.S. and allies in Europe is critically important in the current conditions, when the armed conflict continues for both Ukraine and the region as a whole. The success of strategic partnerships can significantly influence the long-term stability of the country.
