Zelensky: Russia is trying to hide military losses with North Korea in Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the Russian army is participating in combat alongside North Korean troops. He made this statement during a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
According to the president, Russia is trying to hide the losses of North Korean soldiers. 'According to preliminary data, the Russians are trying to downplay the losses of the North Koreans. Together with the defense forces of Ukraine and intelligence, we are establishing complete information about the real losses of the Russian units, which also include Koreans,' Zelensky noted.
Zelensky emphasized that the only reason for the deaths of North Korean soldiers is 'Putin's madness, which has engulfed Russia and fuels this war.'
The president also reported on the approval of the 15th package of EU sanctions against the shadowy tanker fleet of the Russian Federation. Additionally, according to the Prime Minister, 20 billion dollars of Russian assets have already been frozen in the account of the World Bank.
