Zelensky and General Kellogg Discussed Joint Weapons Production and Pressure on the Russian Federation.

Cooperation for Peace
Zelensky noted that various aspects of cooperation aimed at ensuring peace and security in Ukraine were discussed during the meeting. In particular, the parties examined projects within the PURL initiative related to financing the production and procurement of Patriot systems, as well as possibilities for signing agreements on joint production of drones and weapons.
'These are separate projects within the PURL initiative for financing production and procurement of Patriots, strong bilateral agreements on joint production of drones and weapons that we proposed to America. We expect a positive response from the USA,' said the Ukrainian president.
Pressure on Russia
During the meeting, significant attention was paid to the issue of pressure on Russia. Zelensky emphasized the importance of joint efforts by partners in tariff-sanction policy, which could expedite the possible meeting of leaders to end the war.
'We specifically discussed the pressure on the Russians and what we can do together with partners in tariff-sanction policy to enable a meeting at the leaders' level as soon as possible to end this war. The trilateral format of leaders is undoubtedly the most effective,' said the President of Ukraine.
Other Important Issues
Among other topics of discussion was the return of abducted Ukrainian children, international cooperation in this regard, and the conditions of their detention. Zelensky also expressed condolences to the American people in connection with the murder of Charlie Kirk and thanked President Trump for his response to the murder of Ukrainian Irina Zarutska in North Carolina.
Furthermore, the parties discussed preparations for the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, planned events, and the coordination of actions between Ukraine and the USA within the coalition of willing. According to Zelensky, potential meetings and various formats of cooperation are also being considered.
This meeting emphasizes the active dialogue between Ukraine and the USA on important security issues and cooperation at the international level.
