Zelensky Introduces Dual Citizenship for Ukrainians in 5 Countries: Who Will Benefit.
According to inkorr.com: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the implementation of a dual citizenship mechanism for Ukrainians living in five countries: Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, the USA, and Canada.
After a meeting with representatives of the World Congress of Ukrainians held on Tuesday, Zelensky noted:
'We discussed dual citizenship. The law has been passed, and the government will soon adopt the necessary regulatory acts, with the first countries to apply the norms being Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, the USA, and Canada. This is a step towards even greater unity of Ukrainians worldwide.'
Participants in the meeting also discussed support for Ukrainian defenders fighting on the front lines. Representatives of the Congress reported funding for the purchase of drones and pickup trucks for the needs of the army. Zelensky thanked the participants for their support of Ukraine.
