Zelensky called the President of South Korea over DPRK troops.
Zelensky held talks with the President of Korea
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol. During the conversation, they discussed the topic of support for Ukraine and the assistance provided. In particular, Zelensky expressed gratitude to Korea for its consistent support of the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The leaders also discussed the situation with North Korean military forces involved in the conflict in Ukraine. Zelensky provided fresh information about the redeployment of North Korean troops to Russian training grounds and the increase in their number to 12,000 people.
"The conclusion is one - this war is being internationalized and is spreading beyond the borders of two countries."
Ukraine and the Republic of Korea agreed to strengthen cooperation in intelligence and expertise, as well as to enhance contacts at all levels. An exchange of delegations is planned to coordinate joint actions and implement countermeasures in response to the escalation of the conflict.
President Zelensky also invited South Korea to join the G7 Vilnius Declaration aimed at supporting Ukraine on security issues.
Recall, Zelensky has identified the only way to end the war in Ukraine.
