Ukrainian footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko scored the first goal in the match against the national team of Albania. He dedicated this goal to the thousandth day of war and together with his teammates showed a symbolic jersey with the number '1000' during the celebration.
This match is the last for the Ukrainian national team in 2024 within the Nations League framework. In the first half, Zinchenko scored the first goal in the 5th minute, and Roman Yaremchuk doubled the advantage of the Ukrainian team in the 10th minute.
After the first half, Serhiy Rebrov's team has a 2-goal lead with a score of 2-0.

In the group stage of the Nations League 2024/25, only the last, sixth round remains to be played. The Ukrainian national team will conclude the main part of the tournament with a match against Albania on Tuesday, November 19.

In the previous match, the Ukrainian national team drew with the team of Georgia with a score of 1:1 in the group stage of the Nations League season 2024/25. The match took place at the 'Batumi Arena' stadium in Batumi, Georgia.
