Actor Volodymyr Kravchuk criticizes the escape abroad of resting warriors

Ukrainian actor Volodymyr Kravchuk expressed his negative opinion about people who left Ukraine during the war. In an interview for "Glavcom," he commented on the departure of the former director of the Theater on the Left Bank, director Stas Zhyrkov.

I will tell you that a large number of people from my circle of friends also somehow ended up abroad. Honestly, I don't feel very positive about it. I couldn't do it. I think it would lead to the destruction of my personality. I can't imagine how I could feel good abroad after such an event, always knowing that my duty is actually to defend Ukraine.

The actor noted that some artists gather abroad and support Ukraine from abroad, but he finds it insufficient. Volodymyr Kravchuk doubts that they properly resolve their internal conflict.

Even though I see that these people promote Ukraine, advocating our position. For example, at those film festivals. The only question is whether these efforts are sufficient to silence their internal conflict. As for me, I would say no. It wouldn't be enough for me. What kind of significant mission should it be so that I wouldn't blame myself for being abroad instead of fighting?

Additionally, Volodymyr Kravchuk stated that he will discuss in the future the participation of such people in Ukraine's political life.
