According to inkorr.com: Over the past six months, a significant increase in housing prices has been observed in western Ukraine, affecting nearly all regional centers. The most pronounced growth was recorded for one-bedroom apartments in Rivne and Ternopil, where prices rose by 9% and 13% respectively. At the same time, in Lviv and Uzhhorod, prices for such housing decreased by 1% and 8% respectively. This information was provided by experts from the LUN service.

Price situation in different cities

Lviv remains the most expensive city in the west, second only to Kyiv. On the secondary market, one-bedroom apartments here average 64,500 dollars, two-bedroom apartments – 93,700, and three-bedroom apartments – 119,000. For new buildings, one would have to pay an average of 1,390 dollars per square meter.

Uzhhorod ranks second among western regions and third in the entire country. One-bedroom apartments have decreased in price to 59,200 dollars, but prices for two-bedroom apartments have risen by 7% to 95,000. In new buildings, the price per square meter has dropped by 1%.

Prices in Chernivtsi are also rising: one-bedroom apartments now cost 55,000 dollars, two-bedroom apartments – nearly 77,000, and three-bedroom apartments over 99,000. Average prices for new buildings remain at about 1,000 dollars per square meter.

Rivne continues to get more expensive: the price for one-bedroom apartments has risen to 52,000 dollars, and the cost per square meter on the primary market has increased by 8% – to 1,000 dollars.

Ternopil has become the leader in price growth: here, housing prices have risen at all levels, in particular, one-bedroom apartments increased by 13% to 41,300 dollars.

In Lutsk, prices remain stable, except for two-bedroom apartments, where prices have risen. In Ivano-Frankivsk, the increase has ranged from 1% to 7%. Khmelnytskyi remains the cheapest city for now, although the prices for square meters in new buildings have also risen to 750 dollars.

Analysts note that despite local fluctuations, the general trend in western Ukraine indicates a steady rise in real estate prices, especially in cities with high demand for housing.

Additionally, Ukrainians have been introduced to new heating tariffs, which entail significant expenses.
