Changes in export tariffs for goods to the EU
From October 29, 2025, new tariffs for mutual trade between Ukraine and the European Union will come into effect, marking a new stage of cooperation between these parties, reported the State Customs Service.Decision No. 3/2025, adopted within the framework of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, provides for the elimination or significant reduction of import duties and an increase in the volumes of tariff quotas for Ukrainian goods when exporting them to the EU.
According to inkorr.com: Customs officials emphasized: 'This creates new opportunities for Ukrainian exporters. Lower import duty rates and increased quota volumes will stimulate exports and help Ukrainian products enter new markets. For Ukraine, this is an important signal of deepening integration into the EU, enhancing investment attractiveness and strengthening the competitiveness of Ukrainian producers.'
The quota volumes for Ukrainian goods will be increased, opening up new opportunities for export and indicating deepened cooperation between Ukraine and the EU.
These changes in tariffs can significantly impact the Ukrainian economy. The reduction of customs rates and the increase of quotas can ensure a greater presence of Ukrainian goods in the European market, as well as attract additional investments. It is important for Ukrainian producers to take advantage of these new conditions and strengthen their positions in international trade.Read also
