Sign with a black arrow and a car: drivers explained what it prohibits.

Traffic rules in different countries around the world have both common features and significant differences that can surprise experienced drivers. Special attention is drawn to a specific traffic sign that is actively used in South American countries.
This sign has a white field with a red border and a black arrow pointing to passenger or cargo vehicles, writes PMG.
This traffic sign has a clear purpose - it requires drivers of passenger and cargo vehicles to move exclusively in the far right lane, leaving the left lane free for high-speed vehicles.
In the United States, there is a similar sign, which additionally contains the textual warning 'Keep right'.
Currently, such signs are absent on the roads of Ukraine and other European countries. However, given their effectiveness and widespread use in the countries of the American continent, experts do not rule out the possibility of similar signs appearing on European roads in the future. This could be an important step towards harmonizing international traffic rules and increasing safety on highways.
We also remind you of the white diamond on a blue background: drivers were warned about the appearance of a new sign on the roads.
