Destruction of the Crimean Bridge - Russia has no alternative for logistics.

Russians living in occupied Crimea are increasingly scared of the threat of losing the Crimean Bridge from a possible attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This bridge is the only route through which Russia can send troops to southern Ukraine.

Significance of the Crimean Bridge

Large landing ships of Russia cannot enter the waters due to the threat from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and railway ferries are almost all destroyed. Delivering goods by aircraft is an extremely costly measure.

The Crimean Bridge is the only way to supply certain groups of Russian troops in southern Ukraine, but the load on it is already too great. According to spokesperson of the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk, the bridge cannot withstand the load of heavy equipment. Therefore, Russians are forced to look for alternative routes through occupied territories.
