Hard Position: Finland and Germany Condemn Orban for New Flirting with Russia.

In Finland and Germany, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban was condemned for his new agreements with Russia.

According to media reports, Orban decided to allow Russians into Hungary without additional checks after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Germany and Finland criticized him for such actions and urged the European Commission to review visa exemptions for residents of Russia, an aggressor country.

Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo stated that Hungary should be taken seriously and appropriate measures should be demanded from the European Commission regarding visa exemptions. He also expressed the need for a critical assessment of Hungary's actions in its role as head of the EU.

Brandenburg's Minister of the Interior Michael Stübgen called for strengthening control at the EU's borders with Hungary and noted that European treaties allow border control in exceptional situations. Germany's Interior Minister Nancy Faeser also warned of the risks of Russian espionage and sabotage and called on the EU to strengthen protection rather than create potential loopholes for spies and saboteurs.

It is worth mentioning that Orban opened the doors to the EU for Russians after his meeting with Putin.
