Ukrainian Defense Forces Achieve Major Gains
According to UATV: On March 31, 2026, Ukraine's defense forces reported substantial successes against Russian invaders. Over a 24-hour period, they neutralized 970 Russian soldiers and destroyed 61 artillery systems. Additionally, Ukrainian troops took out 2,296 enemy drones and one air defense asset.
Russian Military Toll Mounts
Since Russia launched its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, estimated total enemy casualties have reached 1,297,670 personnel. Other significant losses during this timeframe include:
- 11,826 tanks
- 24,324 armored fighting vehicles
- 39,110 artillery systems
- 1,709 multiple launch rocket systems
Furthermore, throughout the entire war, the following have been destroyed:
- 1,338 air defense systems
- 435 aircraft
- 350 helicopters
- 208,827 tactical-level drones
- 4,491 cruise missiles
- 33 ships and boats
- 2 submarines
Losses of vehicles and fuel tankers amount to 86,359 units, while specialized equipment losses stand at 4,105 units. These figures highlight the scale of Russian military attrition in the conflict.
Thanks to the proactive efforts of Ukraine's defense forces, the frontline situation continues to evolve, potentially shaping the conflict's future trajectory.
