Ukrainian Armed Forces Achieve Some Success in Kursk and Near Kurakhove – ISW Maps.
According to analysts from the Institute for the Study of War, Ukrainian troops have successfully advanced in the Kursk region and near Kurakhove, although Russia is also continuing to occupy new positions in areas close to these locations.
Based on geolocation images from November 15, it is evident that Ukrainian forces have already made progress to the southeast of Korenevo in the Kursk region, where fighting is taking place.
Russian sources claim that their troops have also operated in new territories, but other sources say that weather conditions are complicating operations for both sides.
In the Kharkiv region, a Russian reconnaissance and sabotage group has crossed the international border into Chernihiv region, but there is currently no evidence that they have remained in that territory for an extended period.
In the Luhansk region, Russian troops continue their offensive towards Kupiansk, and analysts warn that if the advance continues, Ukrainian forces may be forced to retreat from their positions.
In the Donetsk region, the Russian military is also continuing its offensive, but at this stage, there has been no significant progress.
Russian troops are also trying to advance westward in the Zaporizhzhia region, but there is currently no reliable information regarding this.
In total, Russian troops have carried out several dozen airstrikes, used many kamikaze drones, and shelled the positions of Ukrainian forces and residential areas.
