Ukraine’s defense forces have seized the advantage in two key areas: near Borova and along the Kostiantynivka–Druzhkivka sector. The heaviest Russian assaults occurred around Pokrovsk and Huliaipole, where enemy troops attempted to solidify their positions.

As a result of the fighting, a Russian howitzer and the headquarters of the 91st Rifle Regiment in the village of Nycolske were destroyed. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian military losses have exceeded 1,377,000 personnel, with 1,190 occupiers eliminated on June 10 alone. Additional equipment losses include:

  • three tanks
  • seven armored vehicles

  • three air defense systems
  • 74 artillery systems

Defense Forces Spokesperson Weighs In

Yuriy Fedorenko, a representative of Ukraine’s defense forces, stated that

“the enemy is forced to pull reserves from other sectors to sustain active combat on its priority axes.”
He also emphasized that
“the defense forces are increasing their ability to strike enemy logistics,”
a development that could positively shift the trajectory of the conflict.

The situation at the front remains tense, yet Ukraine’s defenders are proving capable of proactive operations that may significantly alter the course of the war. These events underscore the rapidly evolving, high-intensity nature of the battlefield, and the intensification of combat might reflect strategic adjustments by both sides. Notably, the Ukrainian military is concentrating its efforts on disrupting enemy supply lines, a factor that could prove decisive in future engagements.
