Ukrainian Military Activity

Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that in May, the net gain of liberated versus lost territory exceeded 100 square kilometers in Ukraine’s favor. This highlights the proactive stance of Ukrainian forces on the front lines and their ability to hold ground under intense pressure.

The overall situation remains tense, with the enemy launching numerous assaults across multiple sectors. However, the effective counteractions by Ukrainian troops—yielding tangible territorial gains—demonstrate their capacity to resist aggression. The coming days could significantly shape the conflict’s trajectory and influence the strategic calculus of both sides.
