The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck three drilling rigs of Lukoil in the Caspian Sea: operation details

According to ТСН: The Defense Forces of Ukraine hit three drilling rigs of the Lukoil company in the Caspian Sea, located at the fields named after V. Filanovsky, Y. Korchagin, and V. Graifer. These facilities supply fuel to the Russian occupation forces.

"As part of measures to reduce the military-economic potential of the aggressor, the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine have hit three drilling rigs of the Lukoil corporation in the waters of the Caspian Sea," the statement reads.

Hits are recorded, and the extent of damage is currently being assessed.

Additionally, in the area of the village of Baranicheve (temporarily occupied Luhansk region), a launch installation of the Buk-M3 air defense system, which is used for medium-range air defense, was destroyed. Preliminary confirmation of the hit and detonation has been received.

Another strike targeted a logistics supply depot of the enemy's 49th army, located near Novotroitske (Kherson region). This aims to undermine the enemy's logistics and combat readiness.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine are systematically reducing the economic and offensive capabilities of the Russian invaders. The strikes are aimed exclusively at facilities related to the aggression against Ukraine.

Previously, the Defense Forces hit an oil depot in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported successful strikes against enemy targets.

On the night of January 10, strikes were carried out on an oil depot in the Russian Federation, as well as on a number of military targets of the Russian occupation troops in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

These strikes are part of Ukraine's strategic campaign aimed at weakening the military infrastructure of Russian forces. Continuing such actions will help reduce the aggressor’s capabilities and bring stability to the region.
