Attacks by Ukrainian forces on Russian oil refining infrastructure
According to inkorr.com: The Defense Forces of Ukraine are actively striking at oil refining facilities in Russia. The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported attacks on enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod region and Bashkortostan, and also confirmed the results of previous strikes in Kherson region.
As a result of our attacks, the 'Lukoil-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez' plant in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, was hit. This plant provides fuel for the Russian army. The 'Sterlitamak Oil Refinery' JSC in Bashkortostan was also attacked and suffered significant damage.
In addition to the latest strikes, the Strategic Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of a fuel depot of Russian troops in the Kherson region. The Military General Staff emphasizes that these actions are aimed at undermining Russia's military-economic potential and stopping its aggression against Ukraine.
The military actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces deal serious blows to Russia's industry, disrupting its military and economic capabilities. It is known that the Ukrainian forces choose targets that support the Russian occupying forces, striking at them to achieve strategic goals.
These actions demonstrate the determination of the Ukrainian military in the fight against aggression, as well as the effort to destroy the logistical routes that supply the Russian army. Attacks on oil refining facilities can significantly affect Russia's ability to conduct combat operations, which, in turn, underscores the importance of economic components in modern warfare.
