Operations by Ukraine's Defense Forces

According to UATV: On June 4 and 5, 2026, units of Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out strikes on key Russian military assets located in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories and in Russia's Belgorod region. According to available intelligence, several strategic sites were hit during these operations.

Targets Struck

Specifically, on June 4, a command post near Kamenske in the Zaporizhzhia region was targeted. The following day, June 5, a command and observation post in Soledar, Donetsk region, came under attack. Additionally, drone control centers were hit near Komar and Voskresenka in the Donetsk region, as well as near Konovalova and Yablukove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Beyond these, concentrations of enemy personnel were struck in several populated areas, including:

  • Mariupol
  • Shevchenko
  • Fedorivka in the Donetsk region
  • the Promin area of the Zaporizhzhia region

Significant strikes also targeted troop concentrations in Zhuravlivka, located in Russia's Belgorod region.

It is worth recalling that earlier, on May 30, 2026, damage was confirmed to an RVS-20000 oil reservoir and two RVS-5000 tanks near the Feodosia marine oil terminal. Then on May 31, a strike was recorded on the Lazarevo linear production and dispatch station in Gonino, Kirov region, Russia, destroying two reservoirs and damaging two others along with a pumping station.

These Ukrainian military strikes highlight the continuation of active hostilities in eastern Ukraine and along Russia's border areas. They may indicate a shift in Ukrainian tactics aimed at destroying critical enemy infrastructure, potentially impacting Russia's ability to sustain its military operations. Such actions could also escalate tensions between Ukraine and Russia amid the ongoing conflict, as both sides continue to bolster their military presence in the region.
