Time and OpenAI have made a content agreement
Time magazine and the company OpenAI have signed an agreement under which OpenAI will gain access to the magazine's news content archive. According to Reuters, chatbots created by OpenAI will direct users to Time.com. Financial terms of the deal are not disclosed.
OpenAI previously entered into similar agreements with the Financial Times, Le Monde, Prisa Media, and Axel Springer. The company aims to spread its ChatGPT technology but announced its intent to limit access to it in China. Although there were already restrictions in mainland China, some Chinese startups could use OpenAI's platform.
