Frontline Update

According to UATV: On July 12, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 260 combat engagements over the past 24 hours, including 67 enemy assaults concentrated in the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk directions. Ukrainian defenders struck 15 areas where Russian personnel were massing and destroyed four artillery systems. This update comes amid ongoing intense fighting along multiple sectors of the front.

In the northern Siversk-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, three enemy assaults were halted. One airstrike involving three guided aerial bombs was also recorded. Across various axes, 76 shelling attacks targeted Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.

Offensive and Defensive Operations

  • Eight attacks repelled in the Pivdenno-Slobozhansk direction.
  • Four attacks repelled in the Kupiansk sector.
  • 11 attacks repelled in the Lyman area.
  • 23 assault actions stopped in the Sloviansk direction.
  • 10 attacks repelled in the Kramatorsk sector.
  • 19 attacks repelled in the Kostiantynivka direction.
  • 44 attacks halted in the Pokrovsk sector.
  • Three attacks in the Oleksandrivsk direction.
  • 13 attacks in the Huliaipole area.

No assaults were recorded in the Orikhiv and Dnipro directions. In the Volyn and Polissia regions, no signs of Russian offensive groupings were detected. While the situation remains tense, Ukrainian forces continue to fulfill their combat missions effectively.

Given the current frontline situation, the intensity of combat operations reflects a high level of strain in the conflict. The numerous assaults and shelling indicate the enemy's continued attempts to conduct offensive actions across various regions.

At the same time, successful Ukrainian operations in destroying enemy concentrations and artillery may point to the effectiveness of defensive efforts in key sectors.
