According to UATV: Over the past 24 hours, 271 combat engagements occurred on the front lines, highlighting the high intensity of military operations. The enemy’s primary axes of attack were:

  • Pokrovsk
  • Huliaipole
  • Kostiantynivka
  • Lyman
  • Sloviansk

Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled numerous assaults, demonstrating their dedication and professionalism in protecting the country’s territorial integrity.

Shelling of Ukrainian Positions

According to a July 8 report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 55 shelling incidents targeted Ukrainian positions. On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, 2 combat clashes occurred, while on the South Slobozhanskyi axis, the enemy launched 12 attacks. The Kupiansk axis saw 2 attacks, and the Lyman axis recorded 17 attacks.

The Sloviansk axis was the scene of 27 attacks, and the Kramatorsk axis experienced 2 attacks. On the Kostiantynivka axis, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 18 enemy assaults. A significant portion of enemy forces was concentrated on the Pokrovsk axis, where 51 assault actions were halted. The Oleksandrivka axis also saw 4 attacks, and the Huliaipole axis faced 24 attacks.
