Naftogaz warns about the spread of fraudulent advertising on social networks
The company 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' reports that fraudulent advertising is spreading on social networks, promising citizens to receive 5000 hryvnias and free gas. An announcement was published on the company's official Facebook page stating that Naftogaz is not conducting any such promotions and is not accepting applications for financial assistance. The goal of the scammers is to deceive citizens and appropriate their money and personal data.
Important safety rules for using gas appliances from Naftogaz
Naftogaz of Ukraine has previously published recommendations on the safety of using gas appliances for families with children. Among them are the proper placement of equipment, regular technical inspections, and the installation of gas detectors.
It is also emphasized that children under 14 should not use gas appliances without adult supervision. It is also important to immediately inform adults if the smell of gas is detected, turn off the electricity, and leave the premises.
