Garnacho on being cast out by Manchester United: It was a tough period in my life

According to The Sun: Alejandro Garnacho admitted that he went through a "tough moment in my life" after being cast out by Manchester United.

The footballer spent this summer alone, waiting for his transfer to be completed.

Alejandro Garnacho spoke about his difficult expulsion from Manchester United. The footballer made his second start for Chelsea against Benfica.

He got the chance to move to Chelsea only at the end of the transfer window, signing a contract for 40 million pounds.

Garnacho confessed that the weeks spent in exile under Ruben Amorim were a true test for him.

“I believe it was a tough moment when I was training alone. But I have nothing bad to say about the club, my old club Manchester United. It was just a bad moment in life, but now I am very happy to be here, playing in this competition and earning three points today.”

Garnacho, 21, is also waiting for his chance on the field for Chelsea.

He made his debut for the Blues in a Carabao Cup match against Lincoln but missed a defeat against Brighton.

However, he returned to the starting lineup in the match against Benfica, where Chelsea won 1-0, and was very glad to play in the Champions League again.
