2025 ACSI Study Results Released
According to Novyny.live: The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) has published its 2025 automotive market study, revealing that Japanese brands continue to lead in customer satisfaction. In the mass-market segment, Subaru, Mazda, and Toyota achieved the highest scores, demonstrating a significant level of consumer approval. The ACSI is a key benchmark for measuring how products and services meet customer expectations in the United States.
Subaru scored 85 out of 100 points, affirming its strong appeal among drivers. Mazda and Toyota followed closely, each earning 82 points. This performance underscores the sustained dominance of Japanese manufacturers in delivering high-quality vehicles that meet user needs.
Competitive Landscape in the Luxury Segment
In the luxury car category, Lexus emerged as the leader with a score of 87 points, indicating that consumers highly value the quality and comfort offered by the brand. Other premium competitors recorded the following scores:
- Mercedes-Benz - 82 points
- Cadillac - 81 points
- Tesla - 81 points
These results highlight the intense competition within the luxury automobile market.
The 2025 ACSI study surveyed 9,949 consumers, a decrease from the 12,173 participants in the previous year's survey. This decline in respondent numbers may reflect shifting consumer interests or a broader change in the automotive buyer landscape.
The 2025 ACSI results confirm that Japanese brands maintain their market dominance by consistently delivering quality and driving satisfaction to consumers.

These findings point to the enduring stability of Japanese automakers in a global market where consumer preferences are influenced by economic factors and technological advancement. The smaller survey sample could signal ongoing transformations within the automotive industry, which may require manufacturers to adapt their strategies for meeting future consumer demands.
