Details of the collaboration between Aidan O'Brien and Frankie Dettori

According to The Sun: Aidan O'Brien has scheduled a rare collaboration with Frankie Dettori as this star pair aims to win the £1 million prize on Saturday evening.

Dettori, 54, will become the jockey for O'Brien's horse, Diego Velasquez, in the Coolmore Turf Mile Stakes at Keeneland.

Ryan Moore, O'Brien's main jockey, is still recovering from a broken leg.

Christophe Soumillon and Tom Marquand, among others, have performed well as substitutes during his absence.

However, now O'Brien and the owners of Diego Velasquez have decided to turn to the legendary Italian in search of the £600,000 first-place prize.

Dettori has demonstrated his skill by winning the Nashville Derby worth nearly £1 million on the horse Wimbledon Hawkeye, trained by James Owen, in August.

Last week, he reaffirmed his form by winning the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Stakes on the international racing star Rebel's Romance.

This Sunday, Dettori will don the former colors when he rides Diego Velasquez in the classic blue and green colors of Sangster.

The racing, during which the brotherhood bought Diego Velasquez from Coolmore, took place shortly before his victory at the Jacques le Marois in August.

Sam Sangster, head of the syndicate that owns Diego Velasquez, said:

“He has a good starting number, and of course we have a very exciting jockey appointment.”

“Frankie remains a world-class jockey at the top of his game, so we hope we can continue our successful streak.”

“The horse is in excellent form. I was at Ballydoyle a few weeks ago, and he looks great. We approach the race with great confidence.”

“It’s a very strong field featuring Jean Prat winners like Woodshauna, as well as Jonquil, who has already shown good results in Group One.”

This collaboration between Aidan O'Brien and Frankie Dettori has sparked much discussion among racing fans since both possess significant experience and success in their careers. The events may unfold differently depending on the horse's performance in the races, but everyone eagerly awaits this landmark collaboration.
