The average salary in Ukraine has increased by 20-25%. Top salaries are earned by Ukrainian IT specialists.
How much do people earn on average in Ukraine?
This information was revealed by Victoria Rudevska, an associate professor at the Department of Finance of NUBiP, in the program Day.LIVE on August 8. According to her data, the highest salaries are earned by workers in the IT sector and bankers.
'The highest salaries are held by IT specialists — about 60–65 thousand hryvnias, bankers — 50–55 thousand UAH, and workers in the aviation sector — about 52 thousand hryvnias. However, the average official salary in the country after taxation is about 22–23 thousand hryvnias. And the increase of 20–25% also means rising prices — it is a vicious circle.'
Earlier, it was noted how salaries increased in Kyiv in August and that the average salary remains at about 30 thousand hryvnias.
It was also reported which professions in Ukraine are considered scarce, where the earning potential can reach 100 thousand hryvnias.
Ukrainian IT specialists and bankers earn the highest salaries in the country, and the average salary in Ukraine has increased by 20-25%, which also indicates rising prices. Despite this, the average salary remains at about 22-23 thousand hryvnias after taxation.
