ALDI launches a new wine collection: what they offer for autumn and winter.
According to The Sun: The supermarket chain ALDI has confirmed important changes that have already begun to be implemented in all 1,050 stores across the UK.
This well-known supermarket is preparing a new autumn collection that will be available for sale ahead of the holiday season.
Aldi has confirmed that significant changes are coming to its storesaldiStarting this week, Aldi has begun selling new bottles for autumn and winter. Among them are both new arrivals and seasonal favorites.
Aldi, known for its award-winning wines, received the title of Wine Supermarket of the Year at the People's Choice Awards, and last year won nearly 180 medals for quality.
Now the supermarket aims to entice customers with its selection – from cozy red wines for quiet evenings to fresh whites that pair perfectly with hearty seasonal dishes.
Sparkling wines have also appeared on the shelves, ready to add festivity to Christmas tables.
“When summer ends, it's time to explore the flavors of autumn. Think about semi-dry reds for cozy evenings or a tropical Chardonnay from Stellenbosch for Sunday roasts,” says Aldi's resident wine master, Sam Caporn.
“And here's a secret – the Cigales rosé wine is perfect not just for summer. Its bright acidity makes it unexpectedly great for winter dishes.”
The new range features Moldovan Rara Neagra (£7.99), rich in chocolate and spices, crisp Pinot Grigio Valdadige DOC (£7.99), and an English sparkling wine (£9.99) with notes of apple and rhubarb.
Among the selection stars is a Chardonnay from Stellenbosch (£6.99) and a bright Cigales rosé (£8.99).
This new selection is designed to offer customers premium bottles at accessible prices.
With Christmas approaching, Aldi's management assures that it's the best time to raise a glass.
The autumn/winter collection is already available in stores.
Meanwhile, The Sun recently tested Aldi wine against leading supermarket competitors.
New Changes at Aldi
These are not the only changes that the chain has implemented this month.
Aldi has announced a significant reorganization of 500 of its stores across the country to make shopping more convenient for customers.
Now in the UK, more than 500 Aldi stores are equipped with InPost lockers.
The German discounter plans to install such lockers in at least 600 stores by the end of the year.
InPost lockers allow customers to conveniently pick up and return online orders from the local store.
These secure and lockable boxes for packages can be used for sending, returning, or picking up parcels.
The service is popular among online shoppers at other chains, as it avoids having to wait for a courier.
Thus, Aldi continues to improve its service, meeting customer needs for convenience and quality. The new wine selection is designed to uplift customers during the cold season and make festive evenings even more enjoyable. With new options for receiving online orders, the chain is becoming even closer to its customers, simplifying the shopping process.
