Ukraine and Azerbaijan stand their ground: both countries oppose the occupation of their territories. This was stated by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, during his speech at the media forum.

The president emphasized that his country has independently restored control over Karabakh and urged Ukraine not to give up, but to fight for what is theirs. He reminded about the unresolved UN Security Council resolutions concerning the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Aliyev also refused to accept the envoy of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and called on the Ukrainian people to never agree to the occupation of their lands.
Azerbaijan also confronted the Russian Federation at a certain period of time.
During the media forum, the President of Azerbaijan expressed support for Ukraine in its struggle against the occupation of its territories and urged Ukrainians not to succumb to external pressures.Read also
