Americans Have Mixed Feelings on Trump's Policies - Reuters/Ipsos Study.

Americans' Views on Trump's Policies
The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that U.S. citizens have varying opinions on President Donald Trump's policies, particularly his economic and financial positions.
Only 32% of respondents support Trump's anti-inflation policy, despite the fact that inflation played a significant role in his election victory. On the other hand, 58% of respondents believe inflation is a key factor that will influence their future voting.
Even among Trump's supporters, there are discrepancies. One-third of his voters do not support the initiative to end birthright citizenship, and one in five is against rolling back diversity and inclusivity programs.
Controversial issues such as control over the Gaza Strip and the reorganization of federal structures were particularly divisive. Only a quarter of respondents and half of Republicans support the idea of establishing American control over Gaza. The initiative to eliminate the Department of Education faced even greater opposition - 65% of respondents rejected it.
Ratings of the government's effectiveness under Elon Musk also vary. 42% of respondents support the work of his department, while 53% are against it. Among supporters of the MAGA movement ('Make America Great Again'), support stands at 94%.
There are also discrepancies regarding immigration policy: while 55% of Americans support increased deportations, overall approval of Trump's immigration measures does not exceed 47%. The proposal for tariffs against Canada also faced significant resistance - 59% of respondents, including four Republicans, rejected it.
