According to a new CBS/YouGov survey, President Trump has begun his second term with a positive approval rating.
According to the survey, 53% of respondents support Trump in his role as president, while 48% do not. This information is reported by ZN.UA citing The Hill.
'The new poll conducted by CBS News shows that Americans overwhelmingly view the return of President Donald Trump to office and his desire to fulfill his promises positively,' - stated in the White House's announcement.
Trump's return to the Oval Office has caused a stir in Washington: at the beginning of his administration, the president signed several orders, Elon Musk and his Office of Government Efficiency dealt with federal government issues, and Trump expressed his comments on the 'long-term ownership' of the U.S. over the Gaza Strip.
Other results from the CBS/YouGov survey showed that 58% of respondents consider Trump 'effective', while 24% do the opposite. Additionally, 55% of respondents consider the president 'competent', while 45% say otherwise.
